SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce.
As nonprofit national education association, SkillsUSA serves middle-school, high-school and college/ postsecondary students preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service (including health) occupations.
SkillsUSA NSLC 2022
Our state traveled to the National Skills and Leadership Conference in Georgia, Atlanta this June with over 90 guests present. Our competitors worked hard and with over half of them placing in the top 10 in addition to taking home eight medals. Congratulation to everyone who was present! The BASIC program, Building and achieving success in Idaho chapters, allows students in our local SkillsUSA chapters to come for a one day leadership and professional development event. They get to meet students from other organizations and train with their state officers. This event is a great way to prepare student leaders for the coming year.

Meet the 2022-2023 State Officer Team
After our State Leadership and Skills Conference ended this last spring a new state officer team was elected. We have three high school officers and one postsecondary officer.
