State Leadership and Skills Conference

The State Leadership and Skills Conference is the premier CTE event for students learning a skilled trade in the state of Idaho. The top students in over 60 different technical skill and leadership competitions gather to compete against peers for a chance to advance to the National Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC).

SkillsUSA Idaho is officially opening the 2024-2025 SkillsUSA Idaho Pin & T-shirt Design Contest to all dues-paying student members of the organization. The winning designs will become the official Pin and T-shirt for the 2025 State Leadership and Skills Conference.

BASIC – Building and Achieving Success in Idaho Chapters
This leadership conference will train your chapter officers to be influential leaders in their schools, communities, and state. State officers will facilitate individual organization sessions as well as bringing all organizations together for a dynamic leadership session and networking opportunities.
Registration fee is $35 – Lunch included
T-Shirts available for $15 (optional)

SkillsUSA Washington Leadership Training Institute
September 21st-25th, 2024
SkillsUSA offers advanced training for students and advisors that focuses on professionalism, communication and leadership skills. This training is held in Washington, D.C., and allows members the opportunity to share their SkillsUSA and career and technical experiences with elected officials.
WLTI activities will include:
- Congressional visits
- Tours of Washington D.C., including monuments
- Laying of a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns
- Evening activities.
Registration Information
Registration Dates: August 1st – August 26th, 2024
Registration Fee: $500 per person – applies to all SkillsUSA members, advisors, and chaperones. Includes activities, local transportation, training materials, conference notebook, some meals.

Hilton Alexandria Mark Center – $184/night + taxes and fees
